PARIS, CITY OF LIGHTS

Oh La La! Lovely Paris, France is home to the Eifel Tower, wonderful food, the Latin Quarter with it’s interesting artistic history, and Notre Dame de Paris, a beautiful cathedral that sits on a small island in the middle of the Seine river.

We’ll explore all that this lovely city has to offer, including a ride on “les bateaux mouches” (boats) down the river. We’ll have coffee, tea or hot chocolate at the little sidewalk bistros while we listen to musicians play; we’ll explore the amazing antiquities at the medieval museum nearby, and we’ll see some of the most famous art in the world at the Sorbonne AND the Musee D’orsay! We’ll stroll through the famous Opera House, former “home” of the Phantom….

For a day excursion, imagine yourself at the Chateau of Versailles, where Marie Antoinette once lived. We’ll take the train there and spend the afternoon. Another afternoon, perhaps we’ll rent a small boat and row ourselves around the lake at the Jardin du Luxembourg.

You’ll be escorted personally by Lucky Mindy, who loves Paris almost more than any other city in the world (and she speaks enough French to “get by” so you won’t have any language problems).

Included:  Three meals daily, all activities and excursions, transportation and transfers within the city, and lodging. Not included: Airfare, spending money for souvenirs and snacks.
